one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, four
i am not going to give details of every trip i go on, but will highlight a few. cara, my roommate from college, arrived yesterday and we commenced our exploration of puerto vallarta.
first up: city tour. the tour took us through downtown, to
the mountains where the movie pretador was filmed (i had never heard of it
until the tour, but apparently arnold was in it) and to a restaurant
up in the mountains near a water hole/mini waterfall where people were enjoying an opportunity to cool off from the sun. last up was the tequila factory, which was definitely the
highlight of the tour. at the tequila stop we learned a little bit about
the agave plant and how to make tequila that is WAY better than patron (think:
no throat burning sensation). we could sample as much as we wanted and
ended up taking home some of our favorites - reposado, cafe, almond, chocolate,
etc.
